Jill appears regularly on a wide variety of national talk shows to address topics as diverse as politics, style, and her many philanthropic pursuits. Equally renowned as an engaging public speaker, she presents her ideas and advice to universities, major companies, international groups, and non-profit organizations across the country. Her diligence and creativity as a prominent businesswoman have resulted in two new fashionable product lines - “Jill Zarin Home” bedding, and body shapewear “Skweez Couture by Jill Zarin.” She wrote her first book, Secrets of a Jewish Mother, with her mother, Gloria Kamen, and her sister Lisa, host of The Lisa Wexler Show, a daily talk radio show. Secrets is now in its third printing and is being translated into Japanese, Chinese and Russian.
Jill graduated from Simmons College School of Retail Management. She began her career in textiles as Assistant Buyer at Filenes, an upscale department store that was part of Federated, and went on to become the National Sales Manager/Vice President of Great American Knitting Mills Jockey division. She joined her husband Bobby Zarin, owner of Zarin Fabric Warehouse - an institution on New York’s Lower East Side - as a marketing consultant soon after they married. Jill is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York. She is devoted to her family and is a dedicated mother to daughter Allyson. She is also quite fond of the littlest member of the Zarin clan, Chihuahua Ginger.
Jill is the first Housewife from NYC to set up a Ustream Channel where she can host live chats with her fans.
